  1. Yes its sometimes the easy option you don"t have to act on something you are not aware off.

  2. With all the chemicals in the environment ,water , food and, water it is real hard to evade this chemical brainwashing . Just watch people stare at a TV and ask them a question .

  3. Some people say the truth hurts, I never liked that saying.

Some people fight for something for so long or stand up for something for so long that they make that idea a part of themselves, a part of their perception.  So when truth brushes with them, they brush it off, they don't need it they have their own beliefs, why use truth?

Like this river spent years and years and years forging this valley out of a mountain.. and then one day it realized it could just simply go around.  Or something; I don't know.

The truth can be hard to swallow sometimes, thats for sure.

Some people have a tough time accepting it, some of us grapple with it, I know I do sometimes, its not always easy.

Its like, I look back at new orleans, and living there around that time, some people would say, "ah well, god did it to us because we've been bad" which is just completely ignorant, I mean way to throw reasoning and logic out the window.

Fact is those type of people might not be able to fathom and grapple with the reality that.. it was our own corrupted damned levee board's fault.  It can be traced back, to a few men, it was their fault.  Squandering the tax dollars...

Dogs get it, sharks get it, why don't people.

    Why have we been conditioned.

  4. truth is subject to individuality and differences.

what is true for you is false for me.

    love

    Pluto

  5. Interesting paradox. Having the choice of being aware suggests that knowledge of subject is avoided and or ignored.  This is somewhat of a charade.  Some people conduct them self as if they don't know what they are actually ignoring.

Can a person know what they chose not to know or opt to ignore?

    Absolutely!

  6. Yes because that would require people to come out of their comfort zones. Ignorance is bliss as they say.

  7. Absolutely.  Lived that way myself for a while.

  8.   Sad but sometimes true...Isaiah 59:14

  9. Yes. I do think so. But I also think they are not right. They need to be aware about the reality. Everyone needs to be aware about everything and then choose the good and right things from it. Cowards choose not to be aware. Braves become and remain aware and fight for the truth with the awareness that they have got. Fortune favors the brave. Unawareness is darkness. Awareness is light. Get this light and go for a fight. You will win the world. No one should leave it. Actually, everyone should live it in a positive way by becoming and remaining more and more aware forever.

  10. If you choose not to be aware then at least you know there is something out there to be aware of , so to turn your back on it would be a denial of reality. Yes, people do that all the time.

  11. I don`t think it`s a conscious effort on their part, just not ready to make the exertion yet. They are all wrapped up in worldly affairs.

  12. Our state of non-awareness proves our choice was made and answers your question.

As for Truth, it simply is, and we have the power of choice (free will) to choose from the only real choices we have:

    1. "I choose to see only Truth."

    2. "I choose to see only Untruth.

    \

Any other choice in infinite existence is based from this initial split in perception, and governs how we continue to choose thereafter. This is the first step in the decision making process we engage in every moment of our conscious existence in a perceptual world.

So, yes, we can choose to leave truth by choosing untruth.  It's the only way to "leave" it.

  13. Most definitely.  The truth can be painful.  The truth can require action.  If we are cognizant of the suffering around us, are we not morally obligated to address it?  By denying the truth, one can deny responsibility.

  14. Aware of what?   Everyone has a different opinion and interpretation of what IS being aware, what the Bible means, what religion is all about, what path should one take.   I understand what you are saying, because I think I am probably on the same wave length as yourself.  I am always reading, investigating, searching and reminding myself to be aware of the moment, etc.

However, Christians believe they are aware of what is true and what is not.  Buddhists are aware of the path they should take, Muslims feel they are also aware of who they are and the path THEY should take.  We say, "the truth is everywhere" but whose truth are we talking about.  What you and I believe to be true, others believe to be false and visa versa.  We should allow everyone to search for their own "truth" and "path of awareness" since we are all unique and all have our own choices to make and our own path to walk.  I choose "not to be aware" when it comes to belonging to an organized religion, others choose to be "aware" in whatever religion they choose to belong to, or no religion at all.    Interesting world, isn't it?

  15. Maybe not.  My truth may be different from your truth. We all come from different perspectives.  Good thinking question!

  16. In unawareness we can lead a comfortable mechanical life.
