Do you think that soon the U.K is going to flip out and we see civil unrest here?

With the feel good feeling sliping away in the U.K and the looming gloom thats coming with out doubt,do you think it will kick off here.

It would only take one week without fuel and the shops empty and we would be starving........reality.

We are always made to feel like the end is nigh and society is about to break down. It sells papers.

In reality we are fine. There's more money and leisuretime than ever but for some reason, the powers that be don't want us to think that.

the British wont. they'l continue taking it up the rear 'as usual' as for all the immigrants, they will just leave the mess behind and go home. BUT!! i recon Islam will rear it ugly head at some point when the going gets tough. and when they do! the labour party who put the threat of Islam into this country will be like rats leaving a sinking ship. thats why they are so desperate to get us signed up into the EU. labours little bolt hole.

well i haven't noticed any difference with the fuel crises or a credit crunch. got a mortgage OK a few weeks  ago .but its the year 2008 not 1908 .there will always be food there

I certainly hope so.

I do feel that it should be directed at the government rather than the ethnic population. I think that our government creates more racial tension because of political correctness and allowing these minorities to segregate themselves.

We must remember that not every Muslim is an extremist. It's like saying every Irish person is an IRA terrorist or every Catholic priest is a child molester. Or indeed every british person is a drunken football yob who lives on the dole at the taxpayers expense.

There are many issues to address - don't forget that.

However I will be first in line with my pitchfork and torch!

You need a reality check. One week? We are VERY Dependant on oil, but we are also survivors, we adapt. This nation came here from all over the world with nothing and built it up. Take away my car, my house, my money. I will survive. But it will never get that far. The Amish do just fine without cars. Transportation will adapt, until then oil will get mighty expensive, but it will not run out.
