  1. No, I do not think Thatcherite should be given a State Funeral.  The last commoner to have a State Funeral was Winston Churchill - an Imperialist who opposed votes for women. Threatened to send troops to shoot dead the miners who were brought out on strike by the Unions and Michael Foot MP during WW2.

    . . . .and a whole load of other things. . . .

My dad and his generation returned home from War in 1945 and vote for a massive landslide victory for Labour.

VOTE LABOUR - YOU KNOW IF MAKES SENSE!

  2. I think she should just rot in shallow grave. No frills, so to speak.

  3. we should sling the traitorous ***** into the nearest rubbish dump. as she did with all our industries, and with our country.

  4. I didnt know she was dead

  5. YES!!!  - if  she  could  die  ten times then she  should have  ten state funerals..  she   deserves its because  she  was  the  bast PM since Winston Churchill..  she stands  head  and shoulders  above the  likes of Brown and Blair  who are mear Pigmy's in comparison  and  are not  fit to l**k  the souls of her shoes!.

  6. I think a lot of people will want one just to make sure she's really dead!

  7. I do indeed think she deserves a State Funeral when her time comes to depart from this world.

I am a little surprised that our lovely (!!!) Government would sanction this though.

  8. Shee made Britain proud to be British again, will this fog of Labour ever be lifted, Yes she should get a state Funeral

  9. Nope

To tom: I hate the goverment we have at the moment but as not as bad as Thatcher

  10. After the destruction and misery she caused to millions of people, despite her 'Iron Lady' persona, I would not like to see her have a state funeral but I would like to see her lie in a state for a very long time before burial/cremation. This would have to be in a sealed box to keep in the smell.

  11. I did not always like  or agree with her policies and I did not always like her, but she is the best one we have had since Churchill , so yes a thousand times yes. it is sstrange that the party that opposed her so much has agreed to this it's almost an apology.

In any event I wish she was back now, at lleast we knew where we stood as a country. I'm not sure if i have one anymore

  12. No but at her funeral all those attending should be made to 'eat prridge!'

  13. Is she dead????

    If so - then no.

Edit: She is 82 and not yet dead.

  14. Iron Lady of England needs all the due respects at her funeral. But, life goes on, whether you respect your leaders or not.

The king is dead. God save the kingdom.

  15. People seem to have short memories regarding Lady Thatcher, ok she made some boo boo's but none as bad as the prime ministers we have had of late, she had balls and took no shite from other countries, gave people the right to prosper and was a leader to be proud of....she deserves a state funeral.

  16. She's not dead.

  17. Yes!

  18. A public hanging now would be more apt.

  19. Yes, but it should be more like a mass Guy Fawkes night bonfire; with a Thatcher effigy being burnt whilst we all toast her demise.

  20. The funny thing is Tony Balir/Gordon Brown along with their New Labour cohorts and their voters have done more damage to the UK than Lady Thatcher ever did, yet people want Lady Thatcher to suffer a long and horrible death??

While Thatcher was PM she pulled the UK out of the Labour slump of the 70's, sure it was a long and hard process and sacrifices were made but her Govt gave us the prosperity that New Labour have been able to abuse and p**s up the wall since they got into power in 1997. Now that growth that the Tories created in the 80's and 90's has gone Zanu-Labour are struggling to keep this country's head above water.

Thatcher should be congratulated for her efforts to pull Britain out of the depression that was Labour, her policies were the bitter pill we had to swallow and it worked, although too little too late.

Now Labour mk II have squandered this countries assests, and bankrupted this country, yet people still try and blame Thatcher? typical Leftie arguments I suppose.

I have a lot of respect for Thatcher although I disliked her, however the typical "mines/pitts closure" argument is easily countered because the coal industry was failing in various countries around the world; British mines were no longer competitive on a global scale. Thatcher simply decided to end lavish state subsidies of a failing industry and let the free markets decide.

And in this current society where Health and Safety is paramount and the Environment is recieving so much "protection", would they still be in opperation en-masse as they once were? no way, the H&S n**i's and Envrio-Facists would have shut them down.

The pitt/mines destoyed people's lives and ruined people's health not to mention the damage it did to the environment but of course why let little things like facts get in the way of a good ol rant, right?

Thatcher was good for this country even though she did go abit mad at the end, and if the only way we can pull ourselves out of this Zanu-Labour induced coma is to have another Thatcher then so be it. Life over the next 5 years are going to be increasingly difficult thanks to New Labour and their Leftie sheep, however I expect Thatcher and her policies will still continue to be blamed for it.

And lastly I don't recall Thatcher taking the country into an illegal war based on lies and spin and having our soldiers massacered in the pursuit of American interests (oil). But of course Tony Boy is a saint in here, isn't he, oh and Gordo is an Iron Chancellor (Pensions and Gold Reserves come to mind). Give them a medal but hang Thatcher! I can see the logic in that.

    Happy rantings sheep!

    Additional:

"Tom the p***k fails to explain the 300000 out of work or the separtist policys for the rich and the poor ,and it is usually wanikers like this that don`t except email the ***** wannker"

Wow, now personal abuse, well done, not only are you ill informed, childish, immature but very rude and obnoxious. Consider this question reported as abuse.

And why should I "accept" e-mails from the likes of you? if it was someone worthy of discussion or debate with then fair enough, but your attitude here just backs up why I don't "accept" e-mails.

  21. Yes, she was the best peacetime PM this country has had in a very, very long time.

Tom - concur with you 100% - the labour luvvies, of what ever age group never go far back enough in time to see the catastrophic damage labour did to this country BEFORE Maggie came to power.

Expect I`ll get a bit of abuse too!!.

  22. I would say yes, but seriously, £3milion? Isn't the government in enough debt?
