I for some reason don't think it will be better, or in other words, i don't think it will live up to expectations, because think about it..... Half of the Olympics in Beijing is about showcasing the Chinese culture, and the opening ceremony was so beautiful because it encompassed China's amazing history. London just doesn't have that cultural aspect, so i think these games might be better!

  1. No it won't be better. China used the Olympics to show the world how it has become a modern nation. The United Kingdom, on the other hand, has no such goal. They don't really care. The Olympics doesn't mean as much to them, so I think it won't be as good.

  2. i agree with you. I just dont think it'll ever live up to the 2008 olympics. It'll take a great olympics in the future manybe with billions to match it and a greater amount of effort to be the best olympics ever.

China does have alot of culture which was shown in their opening cermony. What does london have? You can't showcase singing for hours to take up the television slot.

  3. Only if they change the f*cked up voting system for gymnastics..

    no perfect tens?!

  4. Heres the thing about the 2012 compared to the 2008. China is an ever gaining country. They have economic power and they did all possible to make every part of this olympics perfect. All they had to do was spend a few billion dollars and they can do that when they have a billion people. London will not be able to match it. To top it off Michael Phelps made history at Beijiing and that will be difficult to match also. So an honest answer. no.

  5. No more China robbing people because they're at home, it'll be great.

  6. Well the scoring can't be any worse
