Do you think that the 'opposite attracts' concept ALWAYS holds true?if not why?

i have come across many nerds in my school being only attracted to nerds and some goofies and loonies being only attracted to the likes of them! me being a humourist is always attracted to funny lively people! then what 'opposite attracts' concept all about?

There are several theories you now - Birds of same fether fly together is also just anothor theory. At the same time every theory has its own exceptions. Basically, human beings always try to love / like what they don't possess - this is the foundation for the theory of "opposite attracts". However, the inherent self love will drive them to fly with the birds of same fether.

lol nice question. people usually use that

as an excuse when they can't find anyone

they like. they think that the opposite

can fill all their 'holes'. lol i guess that sounds

The truth is, opposites may attract. But just as often, they attack!

Opposite attracts concept always holds true.This is sigment fruaid theory.Modern psychology is based in this theory.This is absolutly true.But we controlled our self.This is called image.But this theory applicable from birth(child) to dead.

Opposites do often attract, but it doesn't always make for a long-lasting relationship.  And it doesn't *always* hold true.

I am more attracted to others with similar personalities, thoughts, beliefs, interests, etc. as myself.
