  2. No, I think they're blazing hot and going to lay the smack down on Philadelphia!

Oh, you meant "Canadians," not "the Canadiens."  Sorry.

  3. no

  4. no, we all have heat in our igloos

  5. No, most are quite friendly, IMO.

  6. kinda hot & sweaty right now, it's sunny and about 21°C at the moment

  7. I've suffered from frostbite many times - cheeks, nose, ears, even toes once.  So from that perspective, many Canadians are sometimes cold.  But they make up for that coldness in the warmth of their friendliness and welcoming spirit.

  8. Well, I live in Alaska, and I have been in temperatures up to 60 below 0 f, and I know there are in places in Canada that get that cold, so yes, some are.

  9. No, they are toasty

    /sarcasm

  10. Of course not. You are being funny, but it's not working.

  11. Being a Canadian is truly knowing the feeling of being cold. Most of us have experienced minor frostbite, hypothermia and snow blindness. We also know how to protect are selves from the cold.Canadians are polite and friendly not cold. There may be some that are cold, but i have not met them.

  12. Ofcourse when we dont like you or if you p**s us off hey!

  13. Yes, generally, I would say they are cold in comparison with some other cultures, although they would show a lot of variation as individuals.

For example, when travelling, you would find Amercians to be a lot more open, friendly and talkative as well as more inclined to say what is on their minds, even if it offends some people.  I have found them to be more generous than Canadians when it comes to sharing information that is useful in some way.  Canadians, on the other hand, tend to be a lot more reserved.  If you encounter them outside their home country, some of them would barely grunt at you.  They definitely seem to lack the warmth of many Latin and Latin American cutures.

I am not sure why many often appear to behave this way.  It might have something to do with some of the cultures that initially immigrated to Canada and dominated the country.  If you were looking for people to party with, I don't think they would make the top of many lists.

  14. From an American perspective I wouldn't say cold but maybe a little pushy and to much the know it all in some cases. But I think every country has some of them.
