Sproles is awesome, but tiny.  If he doesn't get hurt, he can slice through defenses.

I really like Darren Sproles as a running back. Experts and analysts are very quick to dismiss him because of his diminutive size, but he actually has more strength than most people realize. His speed is obviously unquestioned- once he gets into the open field, he's gone. I remember watching him back in the 2003 Big XII Championship game vs. Oklahoma, and Kansas State were huge underdogs in that game, but Kansas State slaughtered Oklahoma mostly because of Darren Sproles.

Brad Lester from LSU looks like he has potential as a between-the-tackles type runner, but still a very young player who will need time to grow.

Sproles is quick but he isnt the between the tackles runner that Turner was.

Sproles is a great returner, but with the loss of Turner the Chargers have no one to run between the guards.

The Chargers had a great RB combo with LT, Sproles, and Turner. The loss of Turner doesn't help the Chargers, but the duo of LT and Sproles is still good.
