Do you think that the DNC CONVENTION will put the Democrats higher in the polls ?

The Convention starts Monday. So yes, this section in Yahoo Answers will be filled to capacity. But anyway, this is going to be

interesting. I don't see how the Republicans are going to match the

intensity and hype of the Democratic Party. Once people see how

influential Obama and Biden are, the country will make a choice

instantly, as well as the rest of the world. What do you think ?

Will the Democratic Party Convention put them higher in the polls ?

  1. What hype? We know both of their candidates.

  2. Yes.

  3. Both parties will get a bump in the polls after their respective conventions.  They always do.  Neither one is doing anything drastically different than they have ever done, despite what the media and the kool-aid drinkers say.

  4. Does the rest of the world get to vote for our President all of the sudden?

Is this in the fantasy world of your political action figures, because it sounds like the childish dreams of a 6 year old.

When the country sees the mess that party is in and the insane protests by leftists outside it will scare the c**p outta them and once again they will vote for the safety of the "old White guy"

  5. No I don't think so - pretty much everyone sees that both the DNC and RNC are a bunch of smoke and mirrors

To be higher in the polls Obama and Biden need to break down and give solid answers to as many questions as possible.  McCain and ? need to do the same.  IMHO whoever does that first - will win

  6. Conventions always boost support and undeciders.

  7. I doubt it, since the Democratic party has no unity and is in a shambles.

  8. I'm voting McCain. If Obama/Biden wins, they will transfer an even more excessive tax burden on those who invest in our ecomony and employ us. The smart investor, such as me, will put his/her money in nations where his/her investment and jobs are welcome.

  9. They Dems. will go up in the polls for two or three days, then it will be a steady decline until their loss in November.

    <---- I haven't been wrong yet.

  10. Not necessarily. But it will add more power to Obama's campaign.
