  1. well yes, the wealther is all over the place you can not tell want it is going to be like next ,it is all gong to came to an end at some point we need to stop it at once or we will never see the light of day agian

  2. Yes of course species will become extinct

To the doubters: If you don't believe it's going to happen, why do you spend so much of your free time answering questions about global warming-you telling us or yourselves?

  3. It certainly killed off the woolly mammoth, woolly rhino, and the saber-toothed cat!

  4. unfortunately it will effect some animals,we cant just stop the gases in the air that is damaging the ozone , but we can help reduce the gases being put in the air, i think we should go greener and prepare for a warmer earth.

  5. If you do not care about people does that include your family and friends or just those of us you do not know?  If you can get all the people who agree with you and I imagine there may be a million of so you could all do a mass suicide and your carbon footprint will be 0 and the earth would be safe then. That is the solution and if not you would neve know.

Turn off your computer. Stop driving. Stop Eating. Stop shopping and go live in a cabin in the middle of the country but do not I repeat do not cut down any trees, kill any animals for food and see how long you survive. Have fun.

  6. People pollute all the time.  They can't avoid it.  It is part of living.  Warming will probably mean that many baby animals will survive the winter when they wouldn't have otherwise.  Would you rather it cool.  Cold kills far more than does warmth.  You might wish for it to stay the same, but climate never has been stable.  Animals die off and become extinct.  It is a part of a natural process called evolution.  It is interesting to me that many people would like to interfere with natural processes of weeding out the less adapted creatures.  The processes of natural selection ensure that animals remain ideally suited to their environment.  Some species will die if it warms, cools or stays the same.  Humans should attempt to be good stewards of the land but it is silly to believe that you can live without polluting.

  7. Nope not gonna happen. You are brainwashed by the liberal loonies

  8. I think it is out of our little people's hands, the only thing we can do is conserve ourselves and hope that others will do the same

  9. Your liberal indoctrination is coming along nicely.

  10. I sure hope so. We already have way too many little creatures roaming around the planet. It would be good for all concerned if a few of them died out. And anyway, it would just prove that we're the superior species.

  11. Yes a few animals are already extinct due to global warming.

Unfortunately there's going to be much much more animals for example like the polar bear and lots of diff fish but humans too.

Personally for me i care about humans first because even if animals and trees die out humans can take whats left and re birth it.

But if we don't do anything to help the environment in a couple of hundred years earth is going to be a life-less planet.

  12. Global warming may or may not be a reality.

It's the cause of it which is highly disputable.

Make your own mind up, don't be misled or

    brainwashed by politicians.

  13. Glad we know what you think Dr. Kitty, because you know your scientific predictions of future climate trends and their effect on the ecological community are invaluable to us!

  14. If you really want people to die just to save animals, then you will make enemies of reasonable people who might otherwise help to reduce pollution if you were nice to them.

You are polluting the air just by using a computer to post your question. Because that uses electricity that was generated by a power plant that pollutes the air. No person is wantonly polluting for no reason. People, like you, are just doing what they need to do to live.

  15. global warming does not exist.

  16. from wikipedia

According to a 1998 survey of 400 biologists conducted by New York's American Museum of Natural History, nearly 70 percent believed that they were currently in the early stages of a human-caused mass extinction,[20] known as the Holocene extinction event. In that survey, the same proportion of respondents agreed with the prediction that up to 20 percent of all living populations could become extinct within 30 years (by 2028). Biologist E. O. Wilson estimated [5] in 2002 that if current rates of human destruction of the biosphere continue, one-half of all species of life on earth will be extinct in 100 years.[21] More significantly the rate of species extinctions at present is estimated at 100 to 1000 times "background" or average extinction rates in the evolutionary time scale of planet Earth;[22] moreover, this current rate of extinction is thus 10 to 100 times greater than any of the prior mass extinction events in the history of the Earth.

    -----------

    Endangered species  U.S. and territories

373  vertabrates    mammals birds reptiles amphibian fish

    238  invertabrates    clams, snails, insects,

    713   flowering plants

31  non-flowering plants    conifers and cyads, ferns and

While this dire prediction is hopefully just an extreme one, it gives an idea of the scope of the problem.  I don't think they were predicting this because of global warming, or at least not exclusively.  The estimates had to be at least partly based on the level of extinction already happening as a result of habitat loss, pollution, deforestation etc.

Not exactly natural selection at work, as someone suggested.

  17. The Earth will survive regardless. It's only humans and other animals that might have to worry. People die from weather every day (Floods, Tsunami's, Hurricanes etc.). We lose over a thousand species of animals and insects daily (most having nothing to do with climate changes). So other then an increase, it will be business as usual for Mother Nature vs Humanity... merely with higher stakes.

  18. I think we all need to go out and hug more trees!

Kiss a few camels.(Nothing better than a lenght of tongue from a camel, and a lot of spit)

    Pick fleas off all hedgehogs.

Because of this ozone layer the Government are now going to introduce another tax system 5% of our earnings will be used to the 'pamper a pet' scheme and the 'Plant  a new tree' plan, well worth every penny???

We had many animals that are now extinict, Dino, many millions of years ago, did we have carbon emissions then?

How about the Dodo bird extinict about the 17th century, not many package holiday flights around then were there?

It may not appear to be the case but I am an animal lover, I live in quite a dense area, I have visitors in my tiny garden every day  First one is a squirrel actually raps the window now for his nuts, almost shaking his little fists if I'm a bit slow!  I chuck him  handful of peanuts out (still in there shell) He tries to get them all in his mouth at once but no chance it needs a few trips to get them away and bury them so he can forget where he put them all!  This operation is closely monitered by a couple of fat magpies sitting on a near by roof top, they dont really want any nuts, but they wait for squirrel to bury them, then swoop down and dig them all up!   Just out of badness, then a large raven  joins in the party followed by a wood pidgeon!

All ongoing in the middle of this global warming stuff!

I have even seen a fox showing her two cubs which trash bins to visit early in the morning.

When animals trees and earth disappear it wont be through any ozone layer it will be through us nuking our selves to death.

  19. Unfortunatelly, yes. Changes are beginning in 2020.
