Democracy refers to "for the people, by the people". The Govt doesn't seem to ask the people whenever it takes a decision , atleast they should conduct a poll inorder to know the opinions of the people. It looks a limited form of dictatorship .

  1. I think now this Gov. have no time to see people problem. Gov. only busy where are poll's?. All ministers have want to when they will go to tour any other country. Now this Gov. create or define Democracy means to "Ruling for Us, by the people".

  2. That cannot be helped. Democracy does not mean all the people will have express their opinion on matters of public polity. It means that the people through their elected representatives can legislate, execute and adjudicate the governance on their behalf. It will be an anarchy if the people's will has to be ascertained on all matters of public policy.

  3. it is not at all, they make the govt. for them and by them.

who said ours is a democratic country?

    its demo cracks country.

  4. yes, I agree with you but the problem is that, day by day Indian politicians are moving towards ownership of powerful chair only. So they use all of their sources and powers to protect their government and chair only. their is no spaces for genera public or for common man.

It is now only ''by the politics, for the politics'' only.

  5. Hey pools cant be taken for every decesion in the government. You chooce your representative during elections and they ten take deceions on your behalf in the parliament.

One should be sane enough to choose the right candidate at the time of election. By the way, have you ever voted with your own consience really.

  6. Yes..

  7. Govt is democratic, but they are not democats, in kashmir they are violating even basic human rights

  8. Well, the present govt. does certainly fit that description they are not even listening to the house. But, conducting polls is a time-consuming affair. Actually, that is what a parliament is fir, the representative  of a constituency should know the aspirations of the majority in his constituency and accordingly vote in the Parliament.
