For example, urbanization has led to people living too close together, traffic jams, pollution, jealousy, depression, etc.

Would it not be easier to hunt for our own food and live a simple life, build our own homes without 25 year mortgages etc?

Thoughts?

  1. Thank organized religon my friend!!

  2. The Industrial Revolution was a major factor in most modern societal problems. But it's not responsible for most of the problems. Societal issues carry over from generation to generation, it's just that different changes within society put those issues in a different setting.

  3. You need to go way back. Similar problems were present in societies from the beginning of recorded history. Hunting and growing your own food sounds great until you try it. Primitve societies ate their children when crops and the hunters failed.
