Taking a look at wikipedia, the main actor who is playing Goku looks like a freak, I do not understand why they have so many american actors in it. The films origin is Japanese, so they should just keep it that way and not ruin it.

I think that they needed the money from the US to do the film, but I have a bad feeling that they are going to butcher the film.

I started to watched this when I was 12 when it came to the UK, so to see one of my favourites shows being made into a liveaction film has me worrying that it won't meet my expectations as DB and DBZ were both amazing, DBGT was okayish.

  1. Probably most of the live action movies got screwed, well the storyline, like transformers it took them in the cartoon, like a whole season or 3, to get the all spark, and they destroy it in like an hour, just by shoving it at Megatrons chest, also it would take them ages making the movie, like there will be so many special effects, its been 2 years since they confirmed it, they have to fly, the intense action, plus those ki blast, i wonder if Goku goes super saiyan,.and when they do Kamehameha, it would not look that good, well this is what i think anyway,

  2. I know one thing i wont go to see it

  3. I think fans of the Dragonball Z series will, for the most part, hate the live action movie but it isn't aimed at Dragonball fans, since there aren't enough of them to make a decent sized audience. The film will be geared toward pulling in as many viewers as possible, even if it has to sacrifice the already fragile logic of the Dragonball series, and chances are it will butcher the source material and be regarded as a failure by fans of the Japanese cartoon series.

I suggest you do what I'm going to do. Ignore the movie and hope that Hollywood will stop trying to turn anime series into live action movies.
