  1. It does, but it is still a work in progress.

Obviously throughout the short history of the USA we have seen the holes in the government format.

Humanity has not found a 100% format yet.

Any government can claim "perfection" by keeping the people under control with tyranny, but we have to take into consideration the humanitarian effect of it all. So, places with a very corporal judiciary, like Singapore, are not ideal.

  2. I think singapore has the best one. It has the least corruption in the world and is the safest country in the world. United states has one of the highest violent crime rates. Some worn torn countries have less fatalities than ours so I don't think our RIGHT TO BARE ARMS is the ingenius form it was meant to be.

  3. Look into the government of Hammurabi.

  4. Well, I would say that it has been the best government of its time, that is 200 years.

But, it's flaw is that it is too ambiguous and so allows for too much conflict about the rules of the government itself.

Unfortunately, the answer to that is to simplify it.

  5. I can't think of anything better so I guess I'd have to say  yes, but its far from perfect.

  6. oh my gosh no, its a shameful mess of a system.

The electoral college prevents the popular vote from determining who becomes president - remember that in 2000 they decided not to even count the votes, but have their supreme court choose the president.

the president has a cabinet that is unelected and not responisble to anyone, and we have seen how this leads them to run rampant in abuse of power.

though they claim to have a system of checks and balances, in fact the president wields power like a monarch, with a subservient congress that oks anything and everything he wants, again turning a blind eye to genocide and torture.

  7. I'm a big champion of the constitution and of checks and balances. I was born and raised here & know no other type of government firsthand, so understandably I am partial...

As far as Singapore goes...don't people get caned for chewing gum there? I'm sure it is a very safe and clean country, but  I would never want to live in such a restricted environment.

  8. No sorry. The Constitution was based on the best of the European attempts of the time. Read the English history section.

Until we shoot half the lawyers who abuse the legal system, I am afraid I would have to vote for a benevolent dictator or King as a better system, (o right, Bush thinks he is a King) faster, and with just as many or few s***w ups as we have now.
