  1. Kyoto Protocol is old news it would never have works and many countries that did ratify it have not abide by it.

what would they do apply block trade with us.

    that would be a joke,

what do they have that they could block that would hurt us

and if they did what could they do if we decided to retaliate by blocking there trade.

  2. I don't think so.  If the rest of the world can comply with it without any issues, why can't we?  I really feel bad George W. Bush ignoring it when it when majority of the countries around the world signed it.

  3. NO, NO, No!!

Ask this simple question. What is it going to cost, and what will be the benefit (lower temp by how much)?

  4. No. I have read through the Kyoto protocol and it was going to be impossible for the United States comply with. It would be even more impossible now. The way we would have met CO2 levels was to buy carbon credits from nations that did not need all of theirs. It is just a way for the UN to squeeze some money out of the USA to subsidize other countries, when we need our tax dollars to improve our own energy infrastructure. America needs badly to find other forms of energy so we are not reliant on foreign oil.  The reason it was not ratified is that congress recognized it as a bad deal immediately and it is an even worse deal now. It would be a crippling financial blow for the US to ratify the Kyoto Protocol. Don't make the mistake of blaming this on George Bush, it happened long before he was in office and never even made it to the presidential level.

  5. i dont think so
