the free agency is coming up and i was wondering if the pengs will let go of Hossa because of his lack of offense in the playoffs and since the devils were fight to get him at the trade deadline, and since they need some offense bad. so you make the call will they get him or not

  1. The Devils would never spend Hossa money on a player

  2. Lack of offense? WHAT!?!

Hossa was the best scorer for us in the playoffs this year, I am gonna hate seeing him leave... but s#%& happens.

  3. no

  4. Hossa's offense was spectacular during the playoffs. He will be leaving the Pens after this season, though. They won't be able to afford him. As far as the Devil picking him up, who knows?

  5. The way Lemeiux was talking about Hossa last night, I think the Pens would rather sign him than Malkin.

  6. I think they should find a way to get Miroslav Satan.

  7. Lack of offense in the playoffs?! He was second on the team in points, and first in goals...You're ridiculous. If he goes anywhere other than the 'Burgh, management needs shot.

Id like to keep him more than Malkin, too (e-mail for reasoning, if you must), but that will never happen.

Regardless, though, I don't think he'll end up in NJ...look for Montreal to make a push for him, if we're stupid enough not to give him the contract he deserves.

  8. I sure as h**l hope so.  I'm not by any means a Devils fan, but i hate to see a team management ride one player the way the Devils ride Brodeur.  It's like they're seeing just how far they can push him taking every player with any skill away from him until there's no one left.

  9. No, Pens will sign everyone Malkin and Hossa

  10. i'd imagine he would rather play for a good team over the devils

  11. No.

The Boston Bruins need a scorer and are using Marc Savard to try and lure him to Boston.  They clicked well together in Atlanta and I wouldn't be surprised to see them as linemates again in Boston.

  12. The Devils need to focus on shaping up their blue line right now.
