  1. yes

  2. The earth will never "run out" of oil.  As availabilities decrease, we will draw oil from shale and using otherwise more expensive places and processes.  The cost of oil will continue to rise as supply peaks and then declines and as cost to produce it increases.  As price increases, alternatives will look comparatively better and people will shift to other sources of energy.  The use of oil will decrease to only those willing to pay the price.  Gradually there will be less oil available and used, but we will never get to the last drop.

  3. yes, at the present rate of consumption, it was estimated that the oil reserves will not last more that 100 years. unless there is an unforeseen catastrophe, like WW or meteor crashing to our world, definitely, oil will run out.

but not to worry, alternative fuel will be or are being synthesized or made to replace oil.

  4. If nothing goes wrong, the world will supposedly end in a few billion years when the sun enters its red giant phase, expanding its outer layers that will englobe and utterly destroy earth.

We won't be able to make due with the oil we have access to for much longer, in fact it will become very scarce in less than a century or so. Although the world will never 'run out' of oil, we won't be able to make due with the quantity the earth produces. The thing is, although earth is continuously creating primal material, we're extracting it at a much faster rate, leading to its inevitable depletion.

So basically, oil will never end per say, but we won't be getting the sufficient quantity we need to keep our community in the future at a pace similar to our current one.

  5. Seeing as the Earth will run out of oil within the next few centuries, it is almost a certainty unless the world comes to an end before that. Since there is no proof or evidence for a date before the Red Giant phase of our Sun, the question cannot be answered with complete accuracy.

  6. Perhaps.
