Do you think that the fetus screams when he is being terminated?

I believe in pro-choice but I also believe in preventive measures that will ensure that no more lives have to be terminated in such a cruel way .

Absolutely!

Fetus that are terminated unwittingly feel discriminated and they shout for help. That scream may not be heard but the message is clearly manifested on how they try to escape fromt that fearful forceps. Abortion is very much inhuman and doesn't give any justification to be forgiven. It is the worst act humans  do to a very innocent human being.

That scream may not be audible but the message they impart is clearly a violation of human life.

It really sadden me for every fetus that die without any capacity to fight back but to submit with fear and unfairness.

If you mean the question literally, I really doubt it. It depends at the stage of termination; for example, if you are say 8.9 weeks pregnant and the fetus is almost fully developed then it is "theoretically" possible. Otherwise, it is merely a non-sentient ball of cells without an activated neural center... so no. As a matter of fact, it won't even feel pain because it is physically impossible for it to.

Yes, I believe the child feels all the pain and the agony of rejection!  Just as God so does!  It is truly murder in the first degree!

And I for one, in my ignorance, have taken two lives, in abortion!

I will never live this down.  It will haunt me for the rest of my life.

Even though the Lord has forgiven me, I cannot forgive myself.

At the time, I thought it was the best "choice" to make, under the circumstances.  We live and learn!

tough question. on one hand, i am against abortion, and on the other, i believe that certain circumstances are dependent on the person's choice. for instance, is it wrong for a rape victim to choose to abort the child or do we overlook the fact that she never asked for the situation in the first place. Really tough.

Women do not have abortions upon a whim.  Society places pressure on individuals to behave in a certain manner, and human frailty dictates that unwanted pregnancy occurs. Abortion is a traumatising experience for most women.

The media preaches illicit and carnal behaviour, licentiousness sells. No man in America or anywhere else has the gumption to tackle the root cause of the problem. Instead they prey upon the already traumatised victim. It is not the fault of the hapless pressurised mother, or its unfortunate ill gotten child that barren and infertile women and men have taken it upon themselves to pursue an ill considered moral crusade against the victims of this horrendous crime.

Either correct the problem at root source or leave the decision of pregnancy and childbirth in the hands of she who will be responsible for its upbringing.  It is cruel to bring a child into the world that is unwanted or cannot be adequately or appropriately supported. Most mothers prefer abortion than adoption to an unknown source.

The silent screaming of the foetus pales compared to the scream of it being neglected, abused, assaulted and forced to live in a cold and heartless world. Bleeding hearts and the barrenrefrain from comment or get a little moral courage and tackle immorality in society at source. The majority of abortions are by young unwed girls.

Further to this some doctors have taken it upon themselves to retrieve live foetuses from young healthy mothers and implant is adoptive mothers without prior consent. Or embryos are used for research purposes.

In the age of advanced technology, being not that technically advanced foetuses are placed upon the accelerated ageing programmes by Good Scientists. You could be facing a twenty something you terminated three to five years ago and it may in all probability be your child, how frightening is that. These super fast grown babies were commonplace when the Gods dispensed into running water from where grown adults would appear. Slowly returning to our primal and ancient habits ...

Indeed precaution is preferable.

I think when promiscuous women, knocked up by irresponsible men, both of whom are too stupid to value their offspring OR use birth control ---

actually make a decision that spares society from their substandard genes & tragic parenting skills....

We should SUPPORT them.

The short moment of pain inflicted on an undeveloped human does not compare to the years of torment caused by the unloved offspring of morons, and the contamination of the human genome.

And stop acting like PAIN is the issue.   It's not like ANYONE would change their mind on abortion if we could guarantee a painless death.

Not like the anti-death penalty crowd hung up their signs when lethal injection came out.
