  1. About as often as we (somewhat aware of the long journey behind us) are ever even slightly aware that our descendents hundreds of thousands of years in the future will be as unrecognizable to us as we would be to the caveman.

  2. Let's BBQ

  3. I hardly think he did more than express a few horrified, but awe-stricken grunting noises.

  4. OWWWWW,!!!!!!!!!!FU$%#^&^%#$%%%^^ THAT,S HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. He made smores.

  6. Yorga lived in cave #53 and he was always burning stuff.  He liked to burn all the garbage, bridges, and dinner.  He was allways having little accidents and setting himself on fire in the process.  It got to be a frequent sight to see Yorga running through the tall grass in a plume of smoke with his clothes or hair ablaze.  People started to call him "Smokey."

Soon our entire language was changed as new words and phrases started to pop up = THINGS LIKE,

    Where's the fire, Buddy?

It's hot as Yorga in here!

    Where there's fire, there's Yorga.

    Anybody got a match?

Everything changed, but people still liked Yorga because they always knew where to get a light.  Yorga Rocks!!!!

    YORGA, YORGA, YORGA, YORGA, YORGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Actually, I think that its accepted that early humans tamed fire before we evolved language.

"These new finding suggest that not only might fire have been put to intentional use by humans as far back as 1.6 million years, but since this would date it before the accepted emergence of symbolic communication, it may not have had the far-reaching cultural and ritualistic effects we had once thought..."

  8. i don't think he said anything.  but i bet he also didn't know that there was anything else to discover, just like we don't know half of the things out there that people are trying to discover right now.  we don't know now, and if someone suggested one of the discoveries, we'd probably think they were crazy.  but then, the other cave men wouldn't have believed it if someone had told them that another caveman had invented a way to heat food and therefore increase brain function and someday lead to future generations ruling the world.
