Do you think that the holes-in-one those 2 kids had on Sawgrass #3 was a fabricated story?

Sounds a little fishy to me that 2 kids 9 & 11 would have holes in one on consecutive shots. Not to mention, I heard that they are the sons of a VP of Marketing for the PGA.

Was their score card validated?  Were they playing by themselves?

Just because their fathers market for the PGA doesnt mean foul play needs to be breathed.  2 kids holes in 1 isnt going to sell tickets to the next event.

As kids born into the game I am sure they have respect for the rules and all that...

My overall insight sees thousands of players playing on thousands of courses over the wolrd, every day. Anything is possible.

i caddy for 7 years play golf for over 20 years and never saw a hole in one so i think it is

Does it really make that much of a difference to the golfing world ? So why would you concern your self with such triviality?  The truth will eventually be known.

its very very very hard to imagine it be true but anything is possible, just like the article said 1 in 17 million or something like that, ppl that win the lottery never believe it could happen but i can and does, so is it true? maybe but if a father wants to get acknowlegement of his kids to get into a good school and maybe to the pga one day, this would be a good stunt to play

I have no clue, I haven't heard this story until now, but from what I've read so far on this page I have an idea of what could have happened.

I see everyone saying that the dad may have pulled this stunt, but think about the kids. Picture this situation. Kids' dad always working with golf and doing all that stuff. Maybe job maybe goes ahead of kids at times. Kids decide their way to get back up front is to do this and say they both got hole in ones. Kids of that age probably did not think of the impact a lie like that could have, with it being covered on news and everything.

or they could have actually done it... crazy things happen all the time in golf.
