That's a week off and this is a Hurricane. The only thing that is predictable about hurricanes is they are unpredictable. I hope that you and everybody in your area are safe. Where do you live, exactly,- not that I would know when you would be hit if I knew where you lived? Schools are probably closed on a district by district basis, like in the Midwest if there is a blizzard.

The Weather Channel is saying land fall for US is going to be on the 2nd. Sorry.  I live in South MS and I am dreading it.  Katrina left us without power and water for two weeks when she hit us.
