  1. it may not be meaningless, but it certainly can seem futile at times....well, most of the times

  2. What is demanded of man is not to bow to the meaninglessness of life, but rather to accept his inability to grasp its unconditional meaningfulness in rational terms

  3. I believe it is the only question worth asking and it is the reason we are here right now. All other questions are meaningless. Authentic Kabbalah deals with this question directly. Here are a couple short video clips you might check out

  4. No. I am not going to get into which ethics to follow, but I do think it is necessary. Without ethics and finding a meaning to life you wander around without a clue.

  5. Yep.

Pretty stupid to spend all your time figuring out why you're alive...

    ...instead of living.

  6. yes.  meaning in life cannot be pursued,  it must be created.

  7. yes and no

No coz ppl realy want to knw the meaning and the purpose of life and they have a little hope that someone may find it

Yes coz each one give totaly deffirent meaning of life than the other and all of them would be right accourding to his/her view of life and it is not possible to combine all that meanings so it'll be waste of time, so it is better to live the lfe like that

  8. "Even the finest teaching is not the Tao (cosmic order, god) itself.

Even the finest name is insufficient to define it.

Without words, the Tao can be experienced,

and without a name, it can be known."

if you utter the meaning of life, then its meaningless and not the meaning  of life.   its just living.

  9. It depends on what you've experienced at the end of your pursuit.  It never really ends.  Here is an example.

A book by itself has no meaning (excluding the author and publisher of course).  It takes someone outside the book to have find meaning to the words written in the book even in their own life or mind.  So too is ones life.  While you yourself may live your life as something meaningless to you in your existence.  There may be others you touch or interact with daily in your life that find great meaning in your existence.

That by itself shows life has meaning.

To see or discover meaning in your own life is to discover your passion in life.  Once this is discovered life does indeed take on a whole new meaning for you.  Other people can see the world of change in difference in you.

That is the secret.  Find whatever it is that gives passion and pursue it.  And continue to be who you are so that you maintain meaning with other people as well as invigorate meaning in your own life daily at both levels.

In either case the pursuit of life for meaning is not meaningless at all when looked at from this point of view.

    Good luck!

  10. Yes, because if we were supposed to know we'd know.

  11. No because we'd all like to know what was God purpose in creating us. What was he thinking. Or are we here for more than we believe. Pursuing the meaning in life is meaningful but if you stop living to find the meaning of life then its meaningless.
