that the UK is a godless area of a godless continenet. People do not know the difference between right and wrong. In my original homeland of America, we have a higher amount of followers in Jesus' flock and real followers of Jesus, people who go to bible study everyday, go to church on Sunday, go to Sunday School, visit christian bookstores instead of nightclubs and hanging out with shady people never commit crimes because they know what Jesus taught us and why he died for us

Do you think we can convert criminals to rightousness by showing them to the light of Jesus and God???

  1. Agree,

Many Brits will say they dont wanna know or hear about Jesus but from what Iv noticed is that those who have belived have realised crime aint the way.

You can convert many but not all.

I also agree with Emily - people are too quick to dismiss God.

  2. I will talk about Jesus if it means that this land becomes christian again

  3. lol i could be here all day picking holes in your silly theory

but i dont have time so i'll just post this link instead

  4. No.

    Don't think so.

Our creator's universal gifts of life came with the fishhing line, hooks and sinkers vital for the survival and advancement of living human kind in time.

For the good of mankind in the creation of peace on earth goodwill to men.

    Some how with time.

Blunders and slip-ups with human errors was created back in the past without being aware of it being expose in time.

That created the missing link in the generation gap in the young one.

The mess is being at loss on the mystery of being "Born again"

    John 3.3-7

Which is the basic foundation of livng human kind that caused all the mess out there.

    Luke 9.25.55-56,60

    Luke 8.5-8,10-17

    Luke 11.33-36, 46-52

    Luke 6.39-40,41-45,46-49

    What do you think?

  5. Most criminals covert to some religion when in jail, as it not only looks good on their record, that they are "repenting", but usually after their meeting they get tea and biscuits !!!! You may laugh, but if your going to be locked up for 16yrs these little things make a difference. Why not try bending down to pray in front of them !!!!!!!!!!

  6. er, your "homeland" of jesus following america has  a higher crime rate, or dont you follow that anymore?

  7. ''visit christian bookstores instead of nightclubs and hanging out with shady people never commit crimes because they know what Jesus taught us and why he died for us''

Yea well why has your country got almost the highest murder rate in the world then, if everyone is so Christian and not going around killing people?

You should go back over the pond and stay there.

  8. I assume this is a windup.  I spent many years in an American cult, and it caused a lifetime of misery.

However, I do believe that people are far too quick to dismiss the teachings of Christ.  Even if you don't believe in God, the philosphy of Jesus (do unto others as you would have then do to you, turn the other cheek, be humble and peace) can only do good.

I don't see many people going along with it though - they're too terrified of religion.

  9. How much of this this made up, and open a newspaper and read of the crime statistics in US compare that with UK and see if you can see a difference.

  10. I'm not really sure. Although I'm an agnostic and I don't go around commiting crimes and I know the difference from right and wrong. I think children need to be taught the differents between right and wrong whether through their religion or just by parents and school etc. The Laws on crime in the UK need to tougher to.

  11. With all due respect, there is FAR more to this problem than 'godlessness'. Also, the fact is that American crime rates are far higher than they are in the UK... although the UK is hardly a safe haven for all, with the appalling level of violence we see reguarly.

Jesus was a good bloke (doh!) and I admire people who follow their faith without trying to force others to follow it too. Although we're a Christian country, there are many people who hold other religious beliefs and won't convert to Christianity, which is their right in a democracy. We can't impose religion on anyone, and even if we could, plenty wouldn't follow. I think faith is a good guide for many people but when one starts to try and shove any sort of religious beliefs down other people's throats, it will only lead to trouble. How many wars have there been over religion?

I think that the delinquency here is down to a sad lack of respect in today's society, as well as poor education, bad parenting,  (in some cases),and of course there are many other social factors that lead to criminal behaviour, alongside sheer bloodymindedness.  None of which are an excuse for committing crime, but they're issues we need to address. here's also problems with our creaking ''justice system", which is failing far too often and is, quite frankly, a joke.

    End of essay!

  12. Laughs...says "No!! Really!!!" then bursts out laughing again..

crys with laughter....oh my GOD this is a great question...have you ever thought about doing stand up?

you should..REALLY you should..my god its tooo funny for words...

  13. No. Look at Northern Ireland. Both sides were 'religious' and consider also the Crusades. Religion can be a curse on society.

  14. The reason for the increase in crime in the UK is because you so called Christian Americans are going over there and spreading the word of Jesus. People are simply rebelling from hearing all your bull$hit.

Stay home, pardner, you're not wanted over there.

And stay out of Canada, too!

  15. LOLOL!!!

So we're to look to America as an example as to how to behave in an ordererly fashion?

Right - and all those nutters shooting people in malls and schools is down to what?

Quotes like this crack me up - I love dumb Americans

'All of the recent massacres in the States could have been prevented if ONE good guy in the room had a gun with him'.

So you don't think if the said shooting nutter didn't have the gun inthe first place that might have gone some way to prevent the recent massacres?

Do you think these nerdy geeky misfits that go shooting would have criminal contacts to get a gun or do they just masqurade as a sane person and obtain on legally?

Honestly - that kind of attitude is what I like to refer to as 'Homer Simpson mentality'.  No wonder the shows so popular - but it isn't a blue print for life folks!!!

  16. Most criminals attend church then confess after.

  17. If what you're saying is true ... then why is there so much crime in America?...

  18. I think your view is very distorted and to be honest the type of thinking behind your question is not that i would expect of a christian person.

  19. ah come on now...spreading the word of jesus will not stop crime...

most people these days are smarter and know there is no god..the day of religion is gone...its the 21st century

  20. NO!

It's because the citizens don't have any guns. Face it. Nobody mugs an armed man. Not twice, anyway.

    Get some guns!

All of the recent massacres in the States could have been prevented if ONE good guy in  the room had a gun with him. Same is true in Europe.

  21. More people have been killed over the centuries in the name of religion than for any other cause, from the Spanish Inquisition to the Holocaust.

  22. 1. Britain is not interested in religion, its now a secular, largely atheistic country (for which I am happy)

    2. The ONS and the Association of Chief Police Officers both say that crime is down over the last 10 years, and continuing to fall. All major political parties accept their figures without dispute. Further analysis of the stats shows SOME types of crime have increased (eg violent crimes) - but the total number of crimes reported, detected and suspected, is down by any measure.

Britain isn't interested in the word of a mythical figure. As an atheist, with no criminal record, I am deeply offended at your suggestion that I lack morals or the Christians have a monopoly on morality.

  23. ummmmmmmmmm Not really.

Europe is a lot more secular than US and I think we are better because of that.
