In fact in some citites they are for example Glasgow has always had high instances of stabbings for very many years.

  1. No I don't think the rise in stabbings will put tourists coming to Britain, actually the opposite - I think it will put them off coming.

  2. It possibly could. I remember a few years ago an American TV news show did a report on aggressive crime in London, and that apparently had an impact on American tourism to London so I wouldn`t be surprised.

Glasgow has had high stabbing figures, but tourists won`t want to visit Scotland on account of it being rubbish.

  3. no tourists don't know about it

  4. You haven't really phrased the question very well, but I'll try to answer it.

No. I don't think that most people hwo come to visit London from abroad have the faintest idea what goes on here. Anyway, the number of stabbings here is not so high that you're actually at any real risk.

You mention Glasgow there and I think you make a good point. Having said that, London has always had by far the highest murder rate in the country. Obviously there was a slow news day at some point, so the journalists decided to do an expose on teen violence in the inner city, which everyone in London who is actually awake knows full well is no worse than it was 10 years ago.

  5. i don;t think it will put them off, no.

there are very few cities worldwide that don;t have any incidences of violent crime.

  6. theres trouble were ever you go around the world,!!

  7. No it will always be value for money. How much it will cost them, there r other cities that r much more attractive.

  8. They can all come to Bournemouth instead.

It may not be 100% safe, but you're more likely to get a walking stick round the shins or be run over by one of those 'postman pat' disabled buggies than be stabbed.

  9. Maybe, but I think the stabbing and burning of 2 French exchange students  recently will make a difference

  10. I wish it would put the immigrants off.

  11. i would like to think not but with cherie blair looking after that side of things who knows she has no clue either
