A decade it would unimaginable that India would show such trash on its TV. Sadly the Indians imitate the rubbish from the West too much and copy the worst instead of the better things. For example why don't the Indians copy the organisational thinking of the West and sort their nightmare roads out, which have NO sense of order??? India has been flooded with pornography and their young people are flooding to the West to study in our countries, whilst their country falls apart.

  2. In India, they have their own show and it is called "Big Boss"

It's similar to Big Brother...but the thing is, they are more into winning by plotting against each other.

In Big Boss, Rakhi Sawant said she's commit suicide because everyone hates her!

Yes, India has a thing for copying the western shows.

    For example:

    Indian Idol

    Big Boss

Movie: Main Jhoot Nahi Bolta (Liar Liar- Jim Carrey)

    etc

But Indians are about to lead the TV industries.

Even Hollywood makes movies with Bollywood these days.

They just do it for more money, fame and turning their traditional country into a modern country.

  3. Many people I know who have either worked or holidayed in India over the past three years, have said that Indian culture is slowly modernising and looking to the future whilst retaining the majority of its core moral values as a society.

As for Big Brother, well trash is what it is. The more intelligent and educated the society, the greater the need for simplistic entertainment.

In Britain however, we allegedly just like trashy telly.

  4. absolutely not...i holiday in India & parts of it are very modern...they are no longer in the dark ages you know & they are certainly NOT 'falling apart' as you say.

and...education is a high priority for young Indian people & they will travel to find the best source of education for their specific field of interest...nothing wrong with that!
