madcat..What you should have said was that there has been no evidence for you. I've never been into outer space like the astronauts either..and so I have no evidence of anything out there in outer space. But, the astronauts have evidence. Doesn't mean nothing is out there. ..just because I don't have any evidence of it. Same thing with spirits.

  1. Well there is something I have never thought about before.  I'll have to think about that one!  I'll start noticing that at future investigations.  Kind of a familiarity generates visions theory.  Good one Deenie!

  2. yes, possibly.... but for one reason only.... if their picture is up, you look at it and hence are thinking about the person more often...... thats all. it probably would not matter to them.... just only if it matters to you, like if you think about them a lot.

  3. If your seeking a visit from a loved one... no not just pictures but anything that was personal of theirs, just hold in hand and just thinking of them or talking to them can be enough to have them make a visit or have them speak to you. Usually continue concern prayers is enough to call them in, it's like a tuning in since prayer goes to the spiritual world, especially because God is Spirit.

  4. no, only if your are open-minded to them

  5. I do not believe the pictures are dirrectly the cause.  For spirits their only remaining connection to our physical universe is the memories of them that living people still carry.  So spirits are more likely to visit those who still have strong memories of them.  Having pictures around where you see them every day will keep their memories strong and fresh in your mind so in that way the pictures help keep the bridge open.

  6. the belief in the persistence of dead relatives in the form of spirits is a human universal. i believe it is because humans do not want to believe that people they loved so much are gone for ever. therefore, u can always imagine they will visit you. of course, it helps u to remember them if u keep pictures of them. humans in pre-industrial societies keep relics, like pieces of bone, of the ancestors in this belief. u may keep pictures.

  7. well I just don't know about that, I am going to have to read about that.

  8. No, having a picture will not make a difference.  If a deceased member of your family appears to you, it's

either because you need them if you are going through trying or very stressful times, or they are trying to give you a message.  Sometimes they will just hang around, so to say,

    to watch over you.

  9. If thinking about family members affects visits from their spirits, having pictures of them would make you think more often about them and encourage visits.

  10. no, more likely to visit if you have been drinking spirits and picturing them. then they are likely to visit your dreams.

  11. No, I do not believe pictures of deceased family causes them to visit. However, I do believe that a spirit has the ability to appear to those very close to them if they are not ready to cross over to the other side. This may appear as in a dream or almost as a reality to the living left behind. Usually these "dreams" occur shortly after the death of a loved one. But as time goes by these occurrences begin to fade away.

  12. Doesn't matter, hon. They visit if they want to visit. Put the pictures up for you. If you have a certain family member you want to talk to, just talk out loud to them. There isn't anything you need to do, just talk... they can hear you, I promise. And if you close your eyes and keep an open mind, think with your heart, not your head, I'm positive you'll hear their response. :)

  13. There is no evidence of this.  In fact there is no evidence of spirits period.  Sorry.  You just have to move on.

  14. no
