  1. Sure, there are always people like that..

I'm confused to what you are referring to though.

    Be more specific.

  2. Saying that Happy Adoptees must be living in denial is like saying all adoptees who want to search are angry.  Both statements are inflamatory but there are those who like to stir the pot.

  3. There are always people who are in denial about something. My brothers friend and his wife are in serious denial about their financial situation.  As far as relates to adoption sure there are people in denial maybe about their true feelings, but there are also people who are not in denial about their feelings.  If someone is in denial  that person has to figure out those feelings themselves no one else can do it for them.

  4. I think almost everyone would agree.

What there wouldn't be so much agreement on is WHO.

  5. Oh yes!  People here keep telling me my mother is not my mother!  hee hee.

Call her a giraffe, a monkey or whatever you like - no matter how much you want to deny it, she is my mother LOL

  6. Do you think that there are some people here who live in denial?  Yes.

And can anything be done to help them?  Not unless they want to be helped.

  7. people who say they are happy, shouldn't go about abusing or insulting others in their answers and questions. so if they do, then to me they are in denial.

  8. Yes and No.

It is not even really feasible to lift the scales from their eyes.

But it's a hoot to see that some are so intent on lashing out that they even do it to their allies.

A very sad state of affairs.

  9. Yes, especially the people who think their experience is identical to everyone else.

  10. 1.  Yes.

    2.  No.
