Tottenham FC walloped AS Roma FC in a recent friendly which further showcased what Tottenham FC has to offer this new season.

I would like to think so... i was at the lane on sunday, it was awesome..... But Roma did look pretty poor. i was hoping from more from them but its always nice to see your team score 5 goals....

But that top answer about Berbatov.... He might as well have not played on sunday... if he stays great, if he leaves.. no bother, he will be replaced...

It certainly was a great result but I wouldn't get carried away, Spurs still need a couple of signings but they still should have a good season this year.

yes, i really do think we can end the top 4 dominance this season.

Many people will  laugh at me and say here we go again but they must realize the following.

Last year  we did not have a realistic dream , i mean with people like Y.P.lee and gardner in the starting 11 (during the start of the season).

But now we have a good coach who is totally in another league compared to Martin Jol. Now spurs are looking to add  players like modric and arshavin and more recognized  names where as last year and year before we brought in people like ekkoto,kaboul,zakora etc. So now with a new style of playing and a much better management in charge the dream of top 4 is a lot more concrete than ever before. Juande is doing the same thing he did to to sevilla  and hopefully he can deliver similar results.

unlike many of you i am not that concerned about berbatov. He does not fit into the formation Juande is going to imploy . i think i would much rather have arshavin as he fits into the formation better.

i am almost sure that even if berbatov stays bent will be played ahead of him in the starting 11 at the riverside as a target man in front of a 5 man midfield.

yep i reckon they will break into the top 4 juande ramos will make tottenham get into the champions league and make them very famous just like liverpool,chelsea,man u , arsenal(not),real madrid,barcelona,villencia, sevilla,roma,psv,ajax.

with all of these singings like luka modric,giovanni,gomes,bentley.

Yup. I'd say Tottenham will end up in the TOP 4.

The potential is definitely there, but to do it in one game is different from doing it over 38 games a season.

Still early times for Spurs, but I expect them to run the Gooners pretty close for fourth place this season.

Berbatov should remain loyal to Spurs and guide them to a top 5 finish. Lot of other players like Modric, dos Santos, etc...... will definitely increase Spurs' chances of a European spot.

you better not get carried away,  it was only a pre-season friendly. Lets see how you handel the pressure when you have to travel to places like: The Emirates, Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge, Ewood Park, etc...
