yes and no, the new ty toy things are copying webkinz but the original ty's came out long before webkinz even existed

I don't agree with the first answer. Yes we all know Ty came out first but when webkinz came out Ty made an online game with a code for beanie babies right after Webkinz. It's the same as Shining Stars and My E-Pets. But Webkinz pwns all of em'.

Yes, since Beanie Babies were made first, obviously they would want to increase their sales, so they made Beanie Babies 2.0 which you bring to life online. But one thing. They don't come out with new pets every month, you don't get to name your pet either, and it's probably not as fun as Webkinz. Also, all the other things that copied Webkinz are:

Shining Stars

and Littlest Pet Shop VIP's
