  1. Why would anyone go out into the world in search of something bigger than ourselves?  There is only one answer and that is because that person considers itself small or somehow deficient.  When one thinks small, one attracts small.  Small in terms of the other, small in terms of verifications, small in terms of thoughts, and on and on it goes.  At some point, sometime after many decades, one may realize that the search has led to nothing, that there has been no progress and that is very sad and depressing.  That is a truth and it can only be found if the right questions are asked.  Sounds like you may have stunbled on to something.  Keep up the good work.  Cheers!

  2. Yes.  When we experience the ah ha experience (knowledge acquisition), we often feel, afterwards, that we already, "knew this".  This is because of the way the universe is constructed.  Our befuddled "scientists" are only starting to explore this knowledge now.  Hindu yogis have known this for hundreds of generations.  The seed of everything is inside you.  We all create and simultaneaously experience reality.  Humans are really just huge creaters and receivers of creation.  We are actually quite divine.

  3. Maybe some people do.. maybe you do, but any objective thinking person knows better. Truth is subjective. Your truth may be my belly laugh. The only thing to rely on is verifiable FACTS. All else is pointless speculation.

  4. Some may be doing that , some may already be looking inside and be contented :-)

  5. what is true?

  6. The IRS waiting around the corner .

  7. I don't think the truth lies in us at all. I think we go out into the world to seak answers and that the truth needs to be revealed to us. Look at all we have discovered, how much of it do we truly understand? Not much I fear.

Personally I feel that truth will be revealed in death. I am not a religious person (I consider myself more of an agnostic) but only in death will we realize how much or how little we know about the universe and whatever brought us here.

  8. If I were to boil down my life's journey thus far into one question, this would be the question and the answer would be YES!

  9. No

  10. We search because it is the nature of humans to investigate. Humans are to patterns as cats are to mice. When a cat has a mouse and another one comes along he always leaves this one for the next challenge. In the same way we are never satisfied.

  11. I believe that if we don`t believe in a higher power, our ability to see clearly in our affairs is altered. You really can`t think that you are all there is.
