If you read my previous question, i said that i think that they should amend the s*x offender laws because some people was lied to. Ex: friend went out with girl, had s*x with her, went to a bard and the bouncer said she's too young to come in. She was 16, my friend was 28. Met this girl she doesn't look 16 but 23 [she told him she was 24 and was a waitress] and my friend is 28. So basically she lied to him. I think that if they ahd prosecuted him [which they didnt] would she be held liable for lying? I know tihs is a long shot, the chances of a girl confessing, but say she did confess shouldn't she be punished??? There are a lot of cases like my friend's, not as common but not as rare.

  1. If the s*x or the relationship is consensual there should be no punishment if the younger party is 16 +

I think we can agree that by 16, though you may not be morally mature, you have physically grown and have mental capacity to understand what is going on.

I don't think we should have to protect people like this, it's a sham. I also don't think that someone should have to check the ID of every person they are going to date.

  2. 16 and 28 I have no problem seeing him nailed. 17 and 15 have a big problem with http://www.postcrescent.com/apps/pbcs.dl...

  3. 16?  24?  that's an eight year difference.  an important eight years.  there are a lot of diffferences take place in ones life between 16 and 24; differences you can see if you open your eyes.  sounds like your friend needs to start IDing his dates if he can't tell.
