You are making the assumption that humans are intelligent enough to solve all the mysteries of the universe.  I seriously doubt that.  Anyone seeing the number of 2012 and Moon "hoax" questions should wonder if humans are intelligent at all.  Look what we are doing to our environment.  Not content to wait for another natural mass extinction to kill us, we are manufacturing our own.  Perhaps it's a good idea.  

  3. Trust me, since the universe is constantly expanding we will never unlock all the mysteries of the abyss.

  4. Nope. Any civilization with the intelligence capability to search every bit of knowledge from every corner of the Universe would probably be intelligent enough to find something interesting to do. If nothing else, there's always the possibility of breaking out of our own universe into other alternate universes and proceeding to colonize and study them as well. The total number of universes could even be infinite for all we know.

  5. I don't think that day is any time soon...
