  1. The answer is "yes".

Even watching realistically portraid movies can do the same thing.

You value life less when you are surrounded by death.

  3. May be ...by witnessing we beome desensitized and less humane

but as human we are still scared (sensitized) as it is a one time experience for the individual.

  4. you have to explain what humane is because basically, all humans have 2 senses a will to live and a will to die. unlike animals some of us wants to die and wants to see others dieing so no it won't really desensitize you because you will get used to it and it's fate. Plus we see people dieing on TV all the time, it doesn't make much difference seeing it real. We as humans all wanted to kill because we are curious creatures so you can't really say anything about that, or if your christian than you can say that satan can always play a part in our insanity and make us kill, but you can't say that it isn't human if we kill because if we never killed each other, overpopulation and everything will kill more of us.

  5. desensitized, yes, less humane, perhaps. if we permit it to affect us it will, but as long as we're vigilant we retain control of our humanity.

  6. I'm actually more inclined to think that to witness death in real life or, heaven forbid, your own circle family or friends, and are forced to accept the reality of it... that's something different than seeing it in the media.

  7. no...we become more adherent to life.

    I guess.
