technology growing like it is right now it will be possible to somehow become immortal? just a random question.

no.never. no amount of techonology could keep a human body preserved and animate for an eternity

Hmm, I don't think so, I think technology is probably going to crash (like what they predict for the internet in 2010) and we are probably going to have to go back to those cave man days.

Quite the opposite.

We may be striving to gaint technology to make our lives easier, but it always turns to hurting us in the end.

Air travel, combustion engines, boat technology, etc. have all been turned to war use.

Nuclear energy and its ability to power our cities for hundreds of years is instead used as a threat/counterthreat in "diplomacy."

TV and the Internet are probably the two greatest ideas ever for communication.  With them we can truly become a planet in which everyone can learn of other cultures and beliefs; and instead it is used to propagate violence and pornography.

And even medicine is used instead to make biological weaponry.  It is simply human nature to try to reach for the best; and then when its attained to turn it to evil.  And the better we get, the more dangerous it becomes when it is misused.  

Humans have shown an amazing ability to survive; despite the number of times we have attempted to destroy ourselves.  But each time we try to destroy ourselves, we get just a little better.  Sooner or later if we keep trying, we will succeed; and it will be thanks to the technological advances that we have made.

in a way I do but not to the point of living forever just living much longer like to 600 800 years

but on the other hand that would be unwelcome for many think we would over populate the world in 100 years that'll be another problem and forget about populating other planet we're running out of gas here do you think there will be any to travel out of space
