over protective of your children at times?

are you more so over your younger children than your older ones?

Yeah, I can be overprotective of my kids, but mostly because my parents were...  Not.  Personally, I think being the nagging mom is better than being the not caring mom.  At least one day, as adults, they'll see that I'm not completely evil, and that I destroyed their social life out of love, not malice (by the way, I'm joking, I'm nowhere near THAT bad).

I'm more protective over their feelings than anything else.  I'm completely fine with them roughin each other up in some sport, but I'm the first one on another kid's butt if they're being bullies.  And I think I'm mostly even with my two.

I think I'm pretty balanced with how protective I am, I put reasonable safety measures in place. I was never that Mom that worried if my child fell while trying to learn to walk, my friend was so paranoid that her daughter would get hurt falling while trying to walk that she actually slowed her progression down.

Yes particularly as they get older and want to push their boundaries and experiences. It is a hard balance to get right I find.

i feel bad but i would feel worse if anything happened to them.

i am more overprotective of my older 2. they are all boys so they are rough and get hurt and it gets worse as they get older. my other one is just a little baby so he is calming for now...

Im over protective and proud of it no matter what age I have to know they are safe at all times.

I'm very over-protective of my children. I wouldn't say I'm more so with my young one only because he's 5 months and doesn't crawl or anything. When he gets to the walking stage then it certain ways yes, my 4 year old already knows how to walk and understand right from wrong. My son does not.
