Do you think the 49ers will be good this season?

I'm a die hard 49ers fan and i think with takeo spikes mike martz and the other upgrade on defense they might have a shot

judging by our 1st preseason game...doesnt look like it. but they should be better than last year. i mean it is pretty sad when a FA is starting over a #1 overall pick. the offense didnt do anything against the raiders but it is preseason afterall so i guess we shouldnt be very worried yet. the defense is very solid. its the offense that is troubling. having yet another OC and a very complex offense as well. im hoping for 8-8 but we will see. at least if we stink again, we get to keep our draft pick.

The niners didn't get enough help this year. The niners should have put up a lot of money & got Favre. That's how the niners would have made the playoffs. The niners will be lucky to get 7 wins. This is the year Arizona wins their division.

I've expected them to much better for the last couple of years. They're not going anywhere. The defense is decent but Alex Smith is useless. They need a real leader in the huddle.

No they still have problems on defense and they don't have a starting QB or anyone that could be a successful starting QB.
