should get the Melbourne clubs of Kangaroos, Melbourne and Bulldogs out of "the red" before it starts to pump money into the new franchises?? Apparently Mr Demetriou has said no.

So what are the AFL going to do when the Demons and Co. start loosing money yet again? These clubs never have the money and never will...the AFL can only pump in so much money for clubs to stay afloat...its makes you wonder...

I would personally like to see North Melbourne, Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs survive in the AFL before a new team was introduced into the league.

I completely agree with you. The AFL should put more effort into helping clubs with such long histories before investing in new clubs. The AFL will realise their mistake when they are trying to support so many financially struggling clubs in the future.
