  1. just believe what they're told

  2. I regularly read J. Chem Phys, Applied Spectroscopy, J. Raman Spectroscopy, J. Mol. Struct.  Macromolecules and Biopolymers (and successor publications) as well as journals with more diverse topics such as Science and Nature.  I run a molecular spectroscopy laboratory and will supervise 12 research students in the summer term.  I personally analyze about 4000 spectra each year and have done so for more than 20 years.  CO2 is a spectral interference present in most of the infrared spectra that I analyze.  What "reserach" experience do you have to enlighten your comments about AGW?

  3. Mind numb robots.

  4. Listen to this for a little perspective...

  5. I am alamred that you haven't done more reserach into a good spell checker.

  6. I've done many hours of research, including many peer reviewed articles, books, etc.  The more you do that, the more you learn that this is scientific fact.  The bottom line:

"There's a better scientific consensus on this [climate change] than on any issue I know.

Global warming is almost a no-brainer at this point,You really can't find intelligent, quantitative arguments to make it go away."

    Dr. Jerry Mahlman, NOAA

I'm with the Admiral on this one:

"I wasn’t convinced by a person or any interest group—it was the data that got me. I was utterly convinced of this connection between the burning of fossil fuels and climate change. And I was convinced that if we didn’t do something about this, we would be in deep trouble.”

  7. Believers tend to be followers.  If someone who is more important than they are says something smart sounding, then they will just follow without question.

Imagine believing in something just because someone like Dr. Jerry Mahlman, or Pat Roberson, say you should believe.

I like to think for myself, research all the data and come up with my own conclusions.

So far I discovered that no one can predict the future.

  8. I regularly read Science, Nature, Journal of Climate, Geophysical Research Letters, most of the reports from the National Academy of Sciences, and chunks of the IPCC report.  What "resrach" have you done?
