I think the magic will cement themselves as the third team in the east, but not a whole lot more than that.This is coming from a magic fan by the way. Portland Aren't good enough yet to genuinely compete in the west. There's just too many good teams infront of them.

very close for both teams ...esp. love the addition of JBayless for the Blazers..knicks missed him at No. 6

Even closer possibility for Portland if the Big Beast comes back at 80% of his potential.

Yeah In 3-4 years Orlando Utah Portland Hornets and mabey 1 or 2 more teams will be the best in the league

I mean, Roy, Aldridge, Oden, Fernandez, Bayless, Outlaw, is there anyway they won't dominate? I see the next dynasty here.

blazers wont contend this yr but the next 2-3 after tht they will b great. magic, i dont see them bein great unless they make a big time move to really change the team, but they could sneak in there like cleveland a couple yrs back

I have no idea how they do it, but the blazers have amazing managment. they get the best players out of what they can every year. my team, memphis, just trades away all their good players for nobody(pao gasol for kwame brown). i love what they are doing in portland. i think the magic are getting really close. great PG, great post if he can just develop his offensive post up game a little bit more, great shooters in rashad lewis and hedu. and they play in the eastern conferance, so they have a lot easier road to the finals, unlike to trailblazers, who won a bunch of games this year and were still a lottery team.
