I don't think they will though because they are only 6 games back.

  1. If they feel the season is worth nothing they will deal him.

    Jack

  2. i don't think they will, because i don't think they feel they can get equal return value for him...he's such a presence in that lineup, and the way the rest of the team sets up i think they feel they can make a little bit of a run, so i think they're going to take their chances on him

  3. I actually think the Yankees should've picked him up because if he was in NY,the Yankees could've moved Giambi to DH and Teixeira to 1st. I mean the whole point of the trade deadline is to pursue offense, and signing Richie Sexson is not the best example of a team pursuing offense.Since it doesn't seem like many other teams are interested in him, then yes I'm 76% positive the Braves will re-sign Mark Teixeira.Plus he's a huge fan favorite there in Atlanta.

  4. It will depend on how far they fall back close to the deadline. I doubt a week will make a difference, but right now they're in it. If they trade for another pitcher, they will contend. And I'm sure the Braves will use the draft picks smartly like always.

  5. If they get within 3-5 games out of first place, they won't trade him, if they lose ground, they will trade him, and as the weather gets hotter, Mark starts to get hot.
