Do you think the Brewers will make the playoffs?

I used to think they could. But now I am not so sure. They just don't have what it takes. They're missing something and I just can't identify it. Also, Yost's decision to pull Sheets out of a game (with very slight groin tightness) further hurt their playoff hopes. Forget about saving players for the playoffs. You have to make it there first. Getting swept by the Mets is not a good sign. And no, I am not a Cubs fan.

Yes. The Phillies and St. Louis are done.

The Brewers will be plying the METS in the First round. Unless the Mets fall apart like last year, but not likely this year.

Well, if they're going to make it to the playoffs, they need as many good pitchers as they can get.  If Sheeter got hurt, they'd be in trouble.  Ned's just being extra cautious.  And yeah, you do have a point...the Crew has to actually get to the playoffs first.  But how do they know they even will??  I think it was a good thing, what Ned did.  We don't want Ben to be hurt.  You're right, it is not a good sign.  But this isn't the end of the world.  Ben isn't missing his next start, and the Brewers are moving on to the Padres.  Don't give up hope yet.

Every team has ups and downs. They are still four games up in the wild card and the Phillies are not doing much better than they are - both teams are 6-4 in their last ten games.

The decision to pull Sheets was a safe one - do you want one win now and no Sheets the rest of the year, or take a loss now and get five more appearances from Sheets in September? I'll take five more appearances if I'm a Brewers fan.

Don't panic yet, I think the Brewers are still in a very good spot for the wild card.

i am a mets fan and if you are a brewer fan then i am sorry but we need wins also just as bad. don't worry the mets will try to sweep cubs later in september. i thought the brewers were going to be tough competition for mets but they only had a two run lead in 28 innings and got slugged today. and if brewers and mets face off in playoffs then you already know the outcome (sweep).

Yes,I believe they are in serious contention for NL Wild Card. They currently lead the Wild Card by 4 games ahead of Philly.
