  1. As the question is do we deserve an EU dictatorship, the answer is a definate no. Will we get one ? The answer is probably yes, but it will probably be a good thing and I do not think that apathy merits reward.

  2. Were not there yet, but I agree with Trish the event was not widely advertised was it.

I'll be honest with you this one went right by me.

    ATB Red

  3. Nobody deserves it! Just as in the States in was done in private and sneaking those policies in.  People are realizing that they will in fact loose sovereignty and that it is Socialist Communism

  4. now LOOK

Those quiet, won't-say-boo-to-a-goose, calm, conservative ,moderate people of Britain are simmering with sublimated rage.  Some day soon the d**n will burst, and they will rise up and overthrow their evil overlords.

I see the Tiber foaming with much blood..

  5. Being connected with the EU has its advantages, however Britain has been a succesful collection of nations for far longer and in all honesty i think most British people would agree that we can stand on our own and that an EU dictatorship as you put it is far from the best interests of the UK

  6. I don't think it was given enough publicity! On answers there is a lot of support but in the wider world the majority of people werent aware it was happening.  I told quite a few myself. The trouble was its a long way to go from here to London and not all can afford it. Why couldnt there be some more country wide venues?

  7. APATHY RULES WHAT THEY DESERVE..........and this applies all over the world.........!

  8. We will not get an EU dictatorship because the English will rise up and stand for their rights. we will toss aside our burdens of scts and welsh and irish and cease to be the creator of wealth for lesser nations we sill stand up soon and say enough We are FULL go away

  9. I take your point billy, it was disappointing! Unfortunately it does go someway to prove Gordon Brown right, many cannot be bothered to put themselves out over the EU which explains why we as a country are where we are today. There are many, many raised voices against the EU Dictatorship but putting their words into action appears a little to hard...

    ("Common Purpose"   Brian Gerrish? Scary!)

  10. The EU is a bit of a non issue for most people. The only people really bothered about the EU are those who either campaign for or against it.

For the vast majority of people, whether or not we have a referendum on the EU is an extremely low priority issue compared to the economy, the NHS, education, law and order, e.t.c, e.t.c, e.t.c. That's why UKIP are stuck on around 3% popular support, and is also why there are always such low turnouts in European Parliament elections.

So I'm not surprised only about 200 people attended the referendum rally. And no, the British people don't deserve any kind of dictatorship. But, I reckon most people are far more worried about the errosion of our civil liberties by the UK government, rather than about anything the EU is doing.

  11. people of britan dont want nothing to do with the EU, only the MP,s do.  its not in our intrest.   we want to be a british nation, not an imagration nation.

  12. .Its already happened, you just haven't been told about it yet.

  13. We don't really want to be a part of the EU as mainland Europe don't really understand us.  I know I live in Scotland but I don't want it to have independence from the rest of the UK as I think divided we will be weaker so as a little island the whole of the UK should stick together and forget about the rest of Europe.

  14. NO ONE bothered to turn up. yea! its devastating. but it kind of says every thing you need to hear.
