The guy is 1-1 with no knockouts. He couldn't finish the job in last night's fight. I'll stick with boxing for my thrills.

  1. I agree with John. Unless the UFC can come up with the cash to get Fedor in the cage it's a joke.

  2. he beat heath herring.  he dominated the whole fight.  heath herring held his own against nogera. i dont think it was overhyped

  3. herring has 15 career losses so he's a solid fighter but nothing special,  I want to see Brock against real strikers,  guys who put you out with 1 punch

  4. Boxing has few thrills left, I used to watch it but it is as corrupt and questionably as staged as the WWE.

Everyone in MMA is going to lose some, that is just the nature of the type of fighting involved. The very best can lose at any time with all of the different ways to create a submission. Winning a decision to me actually says more as it shows that he was able to stay dominant over the whole fight.

  5. Until they get Fedor the UFC has no credibility in the heavyweight division....period.

  6. I don't watch boxing becuase it's all quite boring. Anyway, I think Lesnar didn't want to finish his fight right away. He wanted to take it easy and not be reckless like the fight with Mir. Beating Herring in your 3rd MMA fight is pretty noteworthy.

  7. No, it wasn't overhyped at all.  He faced a top tier heavyweight in the UFC and dominated three rounds.  The fact that he didn't finish comes down to a lack of experience, but that lack of experience is what makes this win so impressive.  The UFC does need to bring in Fedor and bring back Couture and Sylvia for more depth, but that doesn't count against Lesnar at all.

  8. It's still very impressive. He dominated the whole fight. Brock Lesnar is a newcomer with hardly any experience. Herring has been in the game for a long time even fighting the world's best Mirko Cro Cop and Fedor Emelianenko.

  9. He didn't have to finish off Herring. He completely wrecked the guy, His eye look like Hamburger meat last night. I am surprised Herring didn't just give up after the second round. He took a massive beating.
