I noticed in the article that he purposely changed seats which leads me to believe he had a plan. I think that fact could show intent and premeditation.

  1. The Manitoba bus attack was premeditated (as he carried a hunting knife with him), but the victim was random.

  2. plan or not........i think the suspect needs to xp

  3. No i think we will soon discover that this man is a lunatic!! he wont speak to the police.,...i mean he hasnt sadi a WORD since. I actually was at my cabin in manitoba which is very close to where the bus stopped, and on my way home i drove by the bus and saw the body bags, presumably the chopped parts. Its sickening. I dont think it was pre meditated

  4. i read that the victim was listening to his ipod. it could have been that it irritated the g*y with the machete and caused him to attack. nebertheless, the atacker deserves the same punishment once he gets into jail.

  5. The only thing I do not understand is why this guy was charged with a second-degree murder. What do you have to do in Canada to be charged with the first-degree murder?

  6. Yes. How often do you bring a Rambo knife on a bus? Search all the other peolpes bags and I bet you'll find no Rambo knives.

  7. no, the guy is probably a total nut case...

  8. Has Cheney claimed it was the work of Al Qieda, yet?

  9. maybe the sleeping guy was snoring to loudly.

  10. No. I think the guy is Psycotic, and on His way to a permanent residency in a Mental Institution...

  11. OMG!! I read about that today, If it wasnt pre-meditated then he is one psychotic individual.  Not saying that what he did wasnt wrong or psychotic. I really feel for the witnesses on that bus.  It had to be pre-meditated!!!!

  12. No, this man behaved in a criminally insane fashion.  After stabbing the victim 50 times, he disemboweled him, cut off his head and ate some of his flesh.  That dude is nuts.

The legal reason for premeditated is that the killer planned to kill this specific person.  Based on his irrational acts, it seems unlikely.

That said I think it is in the best interest of society to execute him once convicted, instead of giving this monster room and board for the rest of his life.  He deserves the death penalty.
