  1. Yes, I am definitely sure, that one of the gym girls, was 14, very young, but I don't think in the Olympics, there is a age limit any more, but I'm not too sure about that!

But yes, many of the Chinese athletes are not of age...yet!

  2. YES THEY DO look of age, they are Chinese and the  girls tend to develop slower than Americans and mature around 17 or 18. My cousin is Chinese and she is 23, but when she came to America people said she look near 13 or 14 years old. SERIOUSLY, have you never seen any gymnasts, they are suppose to be smaller, Shawn Johnson's only 4' 9!!!

Don't be Jealous!!!!!! they still deserve the gold because they did work hard and did superb!!!!

  3. "He" was removed because of being 13. and they have hard proof that 4 other girls are underage too. they might take there medals away, just look at my question haha

***** anddd russia and romania have been doing it for years.

  4. I don't even think the Chinese Gold winners KNOW how old they are since their birth year changes so often. I can see one child looking younger, but not a whole team of them looking under-age. They are very talented, very young babies!

  5. According to their passports they are 16 and we know passports can't be falsified.

  6. please, after all years working with china through political, usa isnt going to make a big deal about those small issue with china. They can destroy our economy, I bet mostly everything you buy is made in china. Beside, even if there are old enough, usa still wont get gold due to all alicia's mistakes few days ago.

  7. They are definitely not 16 or 15. I agree they look quite a bit younger 11, 12 maybe.

But they are not going to investigate it any further so the gold is theirs.

  8. i thought they were 12 or 13 until i read their profiles on the olympics website.

however asian kids always appear to be younger than westerners. i live in asia and recently there was an exchange student from france to our school. we all thought she was a new teacher because she looked so mature compared to the rest of us.

i have a friends from my school gym team and she is really tiny too. people always think that she is 10 although she really is 16 this year.

  9. no. I think they are younger than 16. But I don't think there should be an age limit in the first place.

  10. No they arent of age. The Chinese gov't made them fake passports saying they were 16 though. One has a missing tooth and the adult one hasnt grown in yet....

  11. *Yawn...

  12. I live in Japan and find that many Asian women look younger than their age, so it's a tough call that nobody can prove. The  real issue is the fact that the American team lost and people cannot accept that.

  13. When I first saw them I was like " Wow they're look REALLY young." Turns out like two or three of them are under 16 which would have made them ineligible to compete. To be honest I'm surprised this isn't getting more news  coverage than it is.

  14. I think they cheated also, but I also think that there should not be an age limit for this event, as long as they have a parent/guardian's consent or better, a children's gymnastics competition.  I also think that the IOC is ignoring this on purpose.  I understand how some people might look a few years younger than they actually are, but these are actually 13 and 14 year olds with baby faces.  It's not fair to any of the other countries in the world who have underage competitors who would have scored better and possibly brought home a medal for their countries.
