Do you think the Cubs' 7-game homestand has been the toughest homestand this season?

The Cubs still have the best record in the majors, yet their offense worries me, because they're still having trouble trying to score runs, when it matters.

Do you think this tough homestand will motivate them during this road trip to Cincinnati, St. Louis and Houston, and their last homestand vs. the Brewers and Cardinals?

And, can Ryan Dempster avert a potentially damaging sweep by the Houston Astros?

  1. this is starting to look like it

    sweep will prove it

    damaging? NO

  2. I'm sure they won't have any problems after this. Although with the Cubs and Cardinals both doing better on the road right now than at home, it wouldn't surprise me with a 3 game series in st. louis, and the other in Chicago, that the Cards sweep the Cubs in Chicago and the Cubs sweep the Cards in St. Louis. I doubt it but still. They have a 10 game lead over the Cardinals and so even with the Brewers right behind them, there is always the wild card.

Unfortunately for the Cubs, the Astros are on a hot streak. They just swept the Cardinals so it wouldn't surprise me if they swept the Cubs. But knowing the Cubs, they'll win tomorrow.
