  1. in fear?!  i'm in stitches.  he goes after the hillary voters and since hillary just handed them to obama, mccain wants to go out and get a woman to show he is for women?  This man is pathetic.  I was a hillary supporter and frankly i'm offended.  how dare he think that any woman will do.  we didn't want any woman...we wanted HILLARY.  mccain has gone above and beyond to show that he wants to win the election by doing anything and I do mean ANYTHING.  my god...this woman looks like his nurse next to him.  Was she his birthday gift from the GOP?

  2. Yes, they try to disguise it in their phony confidence and "McCain just blew it, thanks for giving it to Obama!"... man, these hippie idiots need to lay off of the hallucinogens.

Fact: Palin has more experience than Obama, and hers is executive, which is more relevant to the position.

  3. All you GOP asshats better start taking a better look.  Before, there were always a bunch of McCain fanboys in all these threads saying they were voting for him.  But now today, after this alzheimers moment by McW, the tides have turned.  Look at this question, tons of OBAMA answers: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

It's over for McCain!  Obama '08!

  4. definitely not

the obama/biden ticket now has more experience than the mcbush/palin ticket, and that has been the only thoughtful criticism mcsame has had. its awfully hypocritical of mcnutt

  5. The Democrats fear that they'll win by a landslide now... Obama has very little experience, but Palin has even less!

  6. Nope no fear at all. Wrong Way just shot himself down again.

  7. All I have heard from liberals today is how Sarah Palin is not experienced enough to be a heart beat away from the presidency. She has THE SAME amount of experience as Barack Obama. Obama would not be heart beat away, he WOULD BE the president, with the same lack of experience as Palin. Why do liberals not get this fact??

  8. LOL Look at all the questions - of course! Picking the dark horse candidate was a stroke of genius.

But she doesn't have any "foreign relations experience" (she's only governor of a state that's surrounded by foreign countries) and she doesn't have any experience! (Except for being mayor and governor of 600,000+ people.) Yeah. ;-)

  9. i am an obama supporter and i can tell you that i am absolutely thrilled with his pick

this is just getting easier by the day

  10. Judging by the extreme pant wetting by libs on yahoo answers, I would have to say yes.

  11. It is pretty obvious. This reform movement with McCain and Sarah Palin has shocked them. Larry King and company at CNN is going beserk over this news. They hate her.

  12. Fear of what?  Its a 50/50 chance no matter who is running.  Either way there will be an incredible new breakthrough in politics: a black president or a woman vice president.

  13. Her husband's an oilman.  That's scary enough right there.

  14. Nope.

Democrats love this.  Republican are going to loose this election. Rather the Republican are running in fear.

  15. As a DEMOCRAT I have no fear about Obama being our next president. He's just trying to pick her  because she's a woman and he wants to win but if you wanna see another 8yrs go down the drain thats you.OBAMA08 for president!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. Fear of what ?

Yes we all fear another four years of anyone like Bush.

So we're voting for Obama -

And many Republican's lost faith and are voting for an American

    not a "democrat"..

The last eight  years have been so wonderful under Bush.

Fear is a four letter word. We embrace change.

    Obama/Biden

    Mccain/noname.

  17. Seeing some of these questions from libs who months ago were asking should we call Clinton Madame President, shows they are threatened that the GOP ticket has a woman on it instead of two men.

  18. Not really.  Hillary's supporters (even the PUMAs) will not be fooled by this obvious ploy.

  19. yes especially since they have a lot on Biden like

  20. I am still working on it.  I need to do more research on her before coming up with an opinion.

  21. Not really

they just took away their own biggest criticism they have of Obama

McCain hand picked a governor that represented just over Half a million people for less than 2 year, and before was a mayor of 9000

how can McCain or the Repub. party argue inexperience when he hand picked the most inexperienced of the bunch on his short VP list

  22. Um if anything the republicans should be shaking in their boots after that, not to mention the lack of individuals that showed up to hear McCain speak .. just a thought =/

  23. I think the rednecks are the ones who are most scared... Their choices are a black man for president or a woman for vice-president...  So much prejudice, so little time..

  24. The Dems are very pleased with McCain's pick..  She's a self proclaimed soccer mom with a Down's baby who needs her right now.  If she is so "pro-life" and willing to take the right to chose away from millions of women, why is she taking on the job of VP? (and doesn't even know what the VP does, according to her statement today) Being pro-life means you accept life as it is... That also means raising that baby and he needs his mom to be home--not jetting around the country. And while we're at it, why is she so against the g*y people? I have lots of friends who are g*y and I feel so bad they don't have the rights my husband and I have.  The democrats should be really happy because now people will vote for Obama.

  25. Well if their not they should be!!!!!!! I think it was a great move on McCain's part. Although I'm still not voting for either. I am going Bob Barr all the way.

  26. yes, because of the comments already coming from the Obama camp:

..."We were briefly assured by senior Obama traveling staff that neither Obama nor running mate Joe Biden would have any on-camera comment about Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s historic elevation as John McCain’s running mate. [wonder why? were Obama and Biden experiencing... "SHOCK AND AWE" ?]

...“Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency. [this remark from the Obama camp could be said about Barack himself?]

    From Obama himself:

As I indicated in my speech last night, I think that he wants to take the country in the wrong direction. I’m assuming Governor Palin agrees with him in his policies. But the fact that she’s been nominated I think, or soon will be nominated, I think is one more indicator of this country moving forward. The fact that you’ve got a woman as the nominee of one of the — (as) the vice presidential nominee of one of the major parties — I think is one more hit against the glass ceiling and I congratulate her and look forward to a vigorous debate. I’m pleased with my choice for vice president, Joe Biden. I think he’s the man who can help me guide this country in a better direction and help working families.”

Asked about the stark difference in tone and substance from his campaign’s statement and his, Obama said the following:

“You know, I think that, you know, campaigns start getting these hair triggers and that statement that Joe and I put out reflects our sentiments.”

  27. FEAR OF WHAT?

A NOBODY WITH NO FOREIGN POLICY EXPERIENCE. A FULL BLOWN NEO-CON ON WOMEN'S RIGHTS. DOES NOT HAVE AN OPINION ON IRAQ, EXCEPT THE SAME AS MCSAME.

DISRESPECTED EVERY HILLARY VOTER THINKING THAT THEY ONLY VOTED FOR A WOMEN, NOT HER POSITIONS, AND TWO MONTHS AGO SAID HILLARY WAS A WHINER.

NOW WHEN IT COMES TO HER DEBATE, WE ARE SUPPOSE TO GO SOFT ON HER?

SHE HAS NOT EARNED THIS HONOR, AND DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR THE POSITION.

BEST THING OLD JOHNNY BOY COULD HAVE DONE FOR THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY.

  28. Ehh, I'm a Democrat and I really don't fear the Republicans or McCain's VP choice.

  29. Oh, you betcha we are...I mean, shes:

    -being investigated by the FBI

-is married to a BP lobbyist

-doesn't have any foreign policy experience

...we're shaking in our boots. LOL!! Way to go McCain.

  30. Why would Democrats be in fear of that??? We are still running the better campaign.

  31. Yep!!

They realize their two candidates are backwards.  The one to be President should have the most experience.  Of course judging by the BO speech last night he thinks he is going to be elected King.
