Almost all the time we find out that so many of the chemicals, and food products, are dangerous. but thats soley after-the-fact. isn't it supposed to protect us exactly from the kind of stuff? (for intance, BEFORE IT HAPPENS?)

and I know for fact that there ARE dangerous chemicals still out there all the time, that we encounter in our everyday lives....

maybe later I will post some sources and facts, a bit lazy ight now! haha

  1. I would say it is both of our faults.  Why do people eat/drink things or take medications that they have no idea what is in them?  I read the ingredients on questionable food/drink products.  And I dont really take any medications.  I rarely take aspirin, and never take cough medicines and I feel great, and my immune system is happy.  If you eat more natural foods, then you shouldnt have to worry about the FDA.

  2. A gvmt agency that isn't working?  I'm shocked!

Now we should give them full control over our retirement plans and health care.

  3. Maybe you shouldn't rely on a government beaurocracy for your safety needs.

  4. I think the FDA has definitely failed us.  They protect corporate interests in products and keep out many natural products that provide healthy alternatives.  Do a google search of how the FDA kept Stevia off the market because Nutrisweet was a big up and comer in the 80's.  Stevia is a plant and not a chemical creation so no one could patent it and distribute it themselves.  Nutrisweet and other chemical sweeteners are some of the most dangerous things out there that we can put in our bodies.
