Do you think the Horoscope Section on Y/A is Helpful when looking for Information about Signs?

I think its useful as heck..anytime I have a question about a sign I always search for it..and most of the time I find t from past Q and A. Its cool...I'm glad I found this site actually.

Yes and no - depending who is in here....at the time - But overall - yes, I have been lucky to have bumped into knowledgeable and even insightful people here! You have to be open and pay attention though - lol! ;)

I like the horoscope section. I have always liked it. There might be some drama from time to time. However, I try to stay out of it. I just come to the section to relax. The information that others bring is also a plus. Thank you everyone!

I have not learnt anything new on here.  Well maybe from time to time some new insights yes........but rarely so.

too many generalisations thrown around.

I have only learnt from musings from some people and some with much more knowledge than me.......but am not one to say names.

Otherwise.........the whole lot is pretty much full of bull in general.

There are many people here who are very helpful.  It is important to separate the wheat from the chaff.  Even a beginner can come up with something I hadn't thought of before.  Some people just have a natural affinity for the subjects.  Others just never get it even with a fancy diploma.

Obviously everyone here gets something from being here otherwise they would go away.  It's nice that so many are here to discuss astrology.  As for the ones who say they haven't learned anything here, they must not be listening.  It is their loss.  Their closed little world could be enriched by the insights of thoughtful younger people like Queen Rach and Pretty.  I have learned from both of them and others.  I am Virgo.  I try to learn from every I come in contact with.  Unfortunately, I learn how NOT to be from some.  I block those people because their "two cents" is worthless.  They don't bother helping anyone including themselves.

I'm certainly having a good time learning and contributing! I only hope I'm adding an intelligent view (can never be sure of that). There are so many on here that have more experience than me! But it's nice to be able to research specific queries and watch others interact. Probably my favorite section on Y!A so far. <3

Well, I'm in a little bit of a different boat, because when I first came here, I spent more time trying to dispel inaccurate stereotypes of the signs than I did actually learning about them. Anything new I learned about the sun signs themselves I learned through observing the way people behaved here, and not neccessarily from Q and A regarding the signs themselves. I think it's great that you've learned so much. That says to me that something must be going right here, because when I started posting here, you wouldn't have learned much at all from this place....trust me on that one. But things have changed, and for the better. Used to be that I could count the contributors that I saw who actually knew astrology on one hand, now there are lots of them:) I can ask fairly involved questions now and expect to get at least a few really good answers that I can use and learn from. The section's got a lot more depth now than it did before. The trick to finding that knowledge here is of course discernment. Not everyone who claims to have expertise really does know what they're talking about, you have to be able to sort the bad apples from the good. Personally, I've found that for the most part (but not always) those who truly have the knowledge and experience are confident enough in their abilities to let their answers stand on their own merit. Most of the time, these people are quite humble about their knowledge as well, seeing it for the gift that it is, rather than something to boast about.

Yes I do think that the horoscope section is very helpful and useful when I look for information about signs. Some of the people are also very helpful. I am very glad that I came to this site.

I suppose that if I was a person new to astrology, I could pick up enough here to at least peak my interest in learning more. New people really have to sift through the answers tho, and would have no way of knowing what is real and what is BS, even for Best answers.  

I personally find this site a useful resource for fine tuning my understanding of more advanced concepts. There are some fine, insightful minds who offer new perspectives and ideas on some of my learnings or "mis-learnings".

other than that stupid c**p the 'non believers' say on this section such as, "u idiots believe in this??it's fake" yes, this is a very informative section.

just look past the skeptics' answers. they shouldn't even sway you.

*whenever im unsure about something in astrology..i often post a question about it. it just helps, y'know? i feel comfortable in the astro section. its my 2nd home.
