  1. When did legalities ever enter into anything Indian cricket is concerned with? They arrogantly consider themselves above the law & rules of cricket.

  3. Yes I do.

    In the 70's, when Kerry Packer set up his world circus, the games governing bodies banned it, and expelled from their respective national teams, anyone who participated in it.

    However, Packers lawyers successfully maintained that this was a restraint of trade.  In the end, world series cricket petered out.  However, I believe it left a positive legacy, because it introduced coloured outfits and a more cosmopolitan feel to the game.

    That's all they are trying to do in India.  Short, exiting innings which will be more entertaining, and it's more value for money for the fans.  What's wrong  with that?"
