  1. Boy, talk about some revisionist history here.  Sorry to tell one guy, but the Jews of Israel built the temple mount 2000 years before the Roman empire called it Palestine.    Anyway, the conflict will be resolved when Jesus returns at the second coming.  Not one day sooner.  Read the book of Genesis.  This conflict will continue to the end of time, and will result in Armageddon.   Have you ever seen a picture of the temple mount?  That's where Jesus will return to.

  2. No because they are both ignorant and intolerant, more so of Muslims. Sorry but it's my opinion.

  3. not necessarily, but it will surely end. everything that has a beginning has an end. even our species will bid goodbye someday.

also, if people reason differently, it may be because they put different meanings to their actions and to other factors related to their behaviors. if they think and act differently, it's because each race has a different history, system of meanings, and values. so even if i don't agree with the history-long war between the two mentioned state, i don't reserve any right to label them "stupid."

  4. They're both right and wrong. Essentially the Palestinians are being punished for what the n**i's did. What's even goofier is that there is no simple and permanent answer that will satisfy all but certainly the Israeli's should make more concessions- no more illegal building, etc. Then I suppose that a giant wall must be built as these two cultures will never mix successfully. Ultimately what other alternative can there be?

  5. Well, I think both sides are stupid. The area now called "Isreal" actually used to belong to the Palestines. The USA helped to forcefully take it away from them.

  6. No, not unless they drop religion out of the context of why they fight. Then both sides act like adults and stop using ancient texts to justify why they belong in that part of the earth (which I have been to a few years ago to see for myself and one of my girlfriends is from Israel). They could live in peace with outside influences, but not without supporters like America, Iran, and Syria getting invovled in this tribal fight.

I said divided it better. Give the Arabs, I mean Palestinians, some more beach front, make Jerusalem a neutral city and see how it works. No foriegn influence. No religious dogma and rhetoric guiding anything. No more walls and open up trade evenly for the West Bank.

If they can''t work it out, then move them all out and put in the UN forever and make it both sides seperate by 20 miles of a DMZ like Korea. This part of the earth should not make WW3 start because of the Old Testament or Koran. I think they were all set-up by Brits, Americans, the UN, Jordanians, Egyptians in 1948 and earlier. Now we all blame them for their problems. You can't prop folks up and then bounce.

    My 2 cents

  7. I agree both sides are wrong - but the area that some claim is Palestine - isn't... the Palestinians have been wandering for thousands of years - if their Arab brothers feel so bad why don't they try to work with the Israelis and carve out a part of their country as well as sharing a part of Israel?

This is like a blood feud that is senseless and needs to stop just like all the other cases of genocide around the world.. but we can't stop all of them. The world community has to call for an end to it..
